I had the same problem with proactive! It did not do a darn thing for my skin, and the mask it came with caused me to have a bad reaction and it took for EVER for that breakout to go away! They wouldn’t stop billing our account even after we told them to stop and sent back 2 shipments of the products already! They did this for 5 months!! It was a NIGHTMARE! Right now I am trying the Murad acne system that I picked up at Ulta, hoping it works better for my face than proactive!!
I’m a little confused about the effects of mineral oil. First you talk about how it affects your body after it gets absorbed, but then you say that it causes acne and clogs your pores because your skin can’t absorb it… do you mind clarifying for me? Thanks!
@cherryontop23 yea sorry if i werent being clear. it is bad for your skin, it will sit on your skin like a plastic bag on your skin so that it will clogs our pores on another hand your body will absorbs the mineral oil which is bad for your body

@cyberkitty5 awww i guess proactive charging me is not just me damn they’re so annoying.. are they still billing your account? i called them 2x making sure they’re not billing me anymore..oh and Ulta do NOT ever sign up for free magazines cuz i did that once and they charged me $20 without telling me just like proactive ughh

Proactive is a club so, they’re going to charge you for products since it’s like a monthly club.
@cydangie i highly recommend it. cause at first i thought that i was cleaning my face pretty good but then when i used this. wow! it removed all of the dead skin that i thought that i was doing a good job doing with my other brands of face wash and moisturizer. but its up to you. they are one of the best in skincare. a bit expensive but it worth every penny

Proactiv annoys my boyfriend like that too…He used to use it, but then I made him switch to some natural, less chemical-filled products, and his skin is always clear now. [:
