great vid. Would you be able to do an overview video of the vichy products you own? I know you mentioned some in this video and I’m really interested in the brand since I started using the dermablend foundation.
thanks
I liked how rambly and honest this video was. No need to apologize!
I’ll definitely have to check some of this out, because my skin has been annoying the hell out of me lately.
But I do love my Boots Rosewater Toner from, it smells like a flower garden!
I really like the Vichy stuff, I have the one in the white bottle though, you can use it on your eyes and face. It’s really similar to Bioderma but less expensive
Ahhh you are so adorable ALL. THE. TIME. Lovely video, as always.
what’s the point of a micellar solution? is it not the same as using water?
Thanks for sharing! I’ve been really killing myself over the Clarisonic as to if I’m going to purchase it or not – I think I’m now going to take the plunge:)I placed an order for the Bioderma a few days ago so can’t wait for that. Thanks, Claire.xx
I just got the clarisonic a month ago and I love it
I’ve tried both the Vichy spot treatment and most of the La Roche Posay Effaclar line. The LRP is better, but it’s mostly packed full of salicylic acid and I feel it doesn’t work that well on my spots. Great video, thanks for sharing your routine! x
@stephpetrella He always has excellent tips
xx
@essiebutton WHAT! My hair looks like garbage! I almost didn’t upload this video because I played it back and my hair looked like I just got down and dirty, haha. Oh MY GOD GIRL you need to go check out the Boots moisturiser (Night shift moisture cream) You would luuuuurve it. So nourishing. And did I mention it smells like fluffy unicorn rainbows?! UR HAWT. Omg can you imaging that if this flat viewing all goes well tomorrow we could be living within 20 mins of eachother in a month?!?! *dies*
@ladyborat1 Thanks for the rec lovely! xx
@ditavee Hmm as you could tell (as this video was all over the place) I feel undecided! I mean obviously a clarasonic is better than using fingers or just sweeping a cotton pad over your face – but TBH I was never that thorough with spending a huge amount of time cleansing! But your comment has reassured me I made the right choice! Viva la Clarasonic!

@bangbang3043 Will do, thanks for commenting
xx
@meep1eats1sheep <33
@gclay20 I could do I suppose, it’s very basic though! Just one eyeshadow all over the lid and some black eyeliner
xx
@PCA05KAT Ooohh, thank you very much for the rec, I will deffo look for that when I use up the Garnier/Liz Earle! And if you feel something is missing from your routine and you have tried other things and feel that your oil control is a problem, I think the Clarasonic can really help. If your skin is quite good in general, it’s not a necessity but it’s obviously a fantastic addition to your routine. Let me know how you like it!!

@Policosmetics82 HOLY CRAP POLI!!!!! Oh my lordy lord thank you for this tip. I am so excited to try this after my beloved Vichy solution finishes!
@madanaphora HIGH FIVE! Eternal youth dude. I need to be like Dita or Isabella Rosselini or Jane Seymore and never ever show my age. EVAR. haha. Hmm, I am confused re: the Avene! They seem to have very mixed reviews. I am disturbingly addicted to the tingling sensation it gives me! I may try one byLa Roche Posay next and see how that works…
@denizandmakeup PAHAH! If you just got down & dirty and still look like THIS I envy you, HAHA! My hair..ohhhh WE WON’T GO INTO THIS. WTF is wrong with me. Anyway, yes I will definitely get the boots moisturizer but my bf is getting quite pissed with me at the moment because we’re moving and I keep buying moisturizers, haha. IF THIS WORKS oh my god I will literally shit myself. I would need to wear a diaper because my happiness would overcome EVERYTHING. anyway, My fingers are crossed, NEIGHBOUR!
Very informative and helpful video Deniz. Will definitely be checking out the Boots Botanics range. PS I am very happy for you that you have found a skin routine that works.
@denizandmakeup
Preach! you’ll get that magical tingle from anything with glycolic or lactic acid. I like both. I swear by mario badescu’s glycolic cleanser too(NOT the gel treatment), even though you don’t seem to be too huge on cleansers. That with the clarisonic is a fucking miracle as long as you slap on moisturizer after. keep me updated on anything new you find!
@denizandmakeup Welcome, darling!
)
I have oily skin also and was not impressed with the Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish either (in fact I think it broke me out) – maybe it’s only suitable for combination/dry skin…
you should try the sheiseido spf cream, it’s AMAZINNNNG. not oily at all, not heavy at all, smells like light rose and not all sunscreen like. i’m on my second tube, loveeee.
Hey Deniz,
because of your advice I bought the
Kryolan anti shine powder. I does such a good
job for me!!! Like it even better than my mac
blot powder!!! Thank you!!! x
